This project started as a simple pool terrace and a massive expanse of lawn. With the design expertise of our sister Landscape Architecture firm, Conte & Conte, a statement outdoor space was created. The pleached tree allee is an elevated horizontal partition, obscuring the vision of the landscape beyond. The scale of the existing pool was balanced with an elliptical perennial bed and a traditional Zen garden, with an adjacent space for the dog. Beyond the trees in the great lawn, we built a pitcher’s mound as well.
